Description
The Rhino SCT-X towable magnetic sweepers are, fully operational, individual SCT units that are able to be quickly linked together in a series of 2 or 3, in order to cover greater areas more efficiently. Perfect for clearing ferrous waste and debris from areas such as, airport runways, container terminals, docks and car-plants, they can show immediate reductions in the cost of damage and down-time to essential plant and equipment.
Each unit is available in 3 magnet widths, with ride height adjustment, towbar height adjustment and 2 tow attachments to pick from, the towable magnetic sweepers attach easily to normal road vehicles and plant machinery, such as forklifts. (Also available is our forklift magnetic sweeper, mounted on the forks)
On the inside, each unit has two rows of very powerful, permanent, anisotropic magnets allowing them to clear all sorts of ferrous debris found on industrial and transport sites, including nails, screws, wire, security tabs, off-cuts etc.
Releasing the waste is achieved by locating the sweepers over a sheet or collection tray, operating the release levers (which lock into position) and towing away. The waste can then be disposed of safely and easily.
As with all of our products, Rhino SCT-X range is designed to operate in arduous industrial conditions, inside and out, even in standing water. They are fitted with large, solid-tyred wheels and are built for maximum strength and durability to remain maintenance and trouble-free.
The Rhino SCT-X Towable Magnetic Sweepers carry our 5 year warranty against faulty parts or manufacture and is manufactured, by us, in the UK.
